You were made
for more than
the waiting

“He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul.”
— Psalm 23:2–3

Hi, I’m Lonette — a follower of Christ, recovering control freak, lover of good coffee and sunset walks, and wife to my favorite person. I create safe spaces where women can rediscover their purpose, refresh their hearts, and step boldly into the life they were born for.

About Lonette

A heart for
safe spaces

I’m a follower of Christ and recovering control freak. I’m a lover of words and stories — and I believe the greatest love story ever told is of the Bridegroom and King who pursues His Bride with relentless grace.

For over a decade I’ve served as Events & Public Relations Director in nonprofit ministry, spoken at women’s retreats and conferences, led Bible studies, and journeyed alongside women in a variety of roles.

When I have a spare moment you’ll find me with a cup of good coffee in the cool morning air, lost in a historical fiction novel, or on a sunset walk with the man I love.

The Book

Waiting is part of life.
It doesn’t have to break you.

A twenty-something waiting for a proposal. A thirty-something on the other side of midnight feedings. A single woman in her late forties, waiting for something more. Whatever season of waiting you’re in — caring for your heart is essential.

“This book met me exactly where I was. Lonette writes like a trusted friend who gently holds your hand through the hard.”

— Reader Review

“The questions in Waiting Well gave our small group the language to finally talk about what we were all feeling.”

— Women’s Ministry Leader
